Eden stopped for some cigarettes and ended up getting the opportunity to direct Peter Sellers.

Turn up the volume.

University Affairs Magazine cover by Finn

UA_Cover_Apr10_v2

The very talented design team at Underline Studio called a few weeks back asking if they could pour over my contact sheets from my Arctic trips, in hopes of finding a landscape shot for an upcoming cover of University Affairs magazine.

To my surprise, they found a shot that I had completely looked over, and I’m thrilled with the result. It’s of the rolling tundra outside Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, with Mount Pelly in the background.

Picture 2

Here is final product for Jack Astor's new interactive website.  Last December I was commisioned to photograph the interiors of the restaurant such as: bar chairs, bar, tables, setting area, lighting fixtures, menus, kitchen, taps, VIP ares. pillars etc. for the agency to assemble and create the new look.

The agency was Cundari, the creative team consisted of Cory Eisentraut and Andrew Bernardi.

A little off topic

DSC_5529DSC_5530DSC_5531DSC_5534DSC_5539DSC_5542

A place I visited, a place I wish to visit again. Images of my Uncles house and shop in a small ghost town in Saskatchewan. Somme was once a booming logging community now forgotten. After living through the ups and downs he has acquired many properties of friends and relatives that have long passed or moved. I listen to his stories with a more eager ear than I have before. This is a glimpse into his life.

Oldie but Goodie

eden-blog-hp

Ok, Here's an oldie but goodie.  Done with Mike Willson a few years
back (check out that printer). Hewlett Packard flew in people from
across Canada for some testimonial ads.  This gentleman, a pharmacist
from Montreal was one of my favourites. After getting a little make-up
and putting on his frock, I actually got to say, "I want'a See More
Weiner on set please."  Actually his name, Seymour Weiner.  Rates up
there with Hugh G. Rection, Harry Hole, Amanda Hugenkis and the like.

My poor umbrella

P3142140

Actually I loved the way that it looked on the street so I hung it from my office. Sure I looked a little crazy collecting them off the street but hey. Hmmm new series of discarded umbrellas. It looks so free, doesn't it?
